Meet Our founders
Teresa and Diane met in 2011 when they worked together as trainers/job coaches with Brevard Public Schools' LEAP program. Their dedication to their work led them to investigate success stories in employment and life transformations. When they took training in customized employment, they knew they wanted to help people become self employed and create employment that matched each individual. Since becoming Certified Business and Technical Assistance Consultants through Vocational Rehabilitation in 2016, they have been committed to doing just that!
Diane DicksonI've always been an entrepreneur at heart. My first business when I was in my early 20s was a hair cut service for kids with sensory issues and other disabilities. Since then I've done special education advocacy work, community organizing and volunteer coordinating.
I moved to Brevard county in 2010 and have been serving the community as an employment specialist, job coach and certified business and technical assistance consultant through vocational rehabilitation (CBTAC).I also support families as a healthy lifestyle coach with an emphasis on targeted nutrition for optimizing brain function. I believe that all people deserve to live as their highest version. I am dedicated to assisting people in living on purpose with passion. |
Teresa BarrettIn Loving Memory of Teresa Barrett
March 23, 1978 - January 12, 2023 I love helping people reach their full potential! For 14 years, as a trainer and educator, I have honed my skill at working with people who have learning differences. I employ a positive outlook, zeal, patience and perseverance to highlight strengths and build upon shortcomings. I am not afraid to reach into spaces where others seldom go, to build a bridge between those who are stuck and those who have found success. |
